We are also driven to making this market day an amazing experience for visitors of all ages with various forms of workshops and other entertainment.

The Karoo Wool Market and Expo will show case all the wonderful woollen products that are created by our thriving natural fibre manufacturing and fashion industry. Natural fibre manufacturers will have the opportunity to showcase their products and share their story, along with networking with other producers who are just as passionate about wool. Who will be there? 

A local produce food market will be available for festival goers to taste some delicious locally made food and drink. A huge effort from the districts best eateries has been made to serve only the best and most satisfying traditional Karoo food and drink.

An educational wool demonstration of throwing, classing and processing Karoo wool, will be done to show festival goers the process that wool goes through in order to progress from sheep to shop.

Paradigm shifting speakers are lined up for your listening pleasure. They will be speaking about agricultural economics, sustainable farming, the future of farming in South Africa and the importance of natural fibres in South African fashion.
